It's one thing to lose to a bad team in your first year with another guys players. It's another to lose by 21 to that team. Still, long way to go before we see how things pan out.

By dodged a bullet, I wasn't trying to say that Archie is a bad coach. But I am very happy that we didn't pay through the nose for our first choice is all (yes, I'm aware he didn't want to come here anyways). I think that he may have been overrated a bit. And Keatts is looking real nice so far.

And the shadiness at arizona certainly doesn't necessarily mean anything with regards to Archie, but I can tell you that if he was here, I would be waiting for the next shoe to drop. Hell, I'm halfway waiting for it to drop anyways because of Gott/DSJ.

Fair enough. The difference in my mind is that Keatts was long gone before the latest FBI shit has come out which is far more concerning than strippergate. I also remember reading around the time we hired him someone (Pitino?) specifically clearing Keatts of any involvement in that stuff which eased my mind at the time. Of course, that may be totally made up because I can't find anything along those lines now.

They have two separate tournaments. Mainly because Nike wanted both Duke and UNC there and they aren't going to sign up to play each other.

personally, I don't care about this Nike/ESPN wankfest. Nike has made some godawful special uniforms for this tournament as well.

WVU was able to speed UVA up with their press. That along with great execution (40% from 3) allowed them to win. It gives me hope that our system can have success against UVA in the long term. I haven't paid attention to the Louisville UVA series. Does anyone know the recent record?

Wofford has led the whole game and yet been called for 25 fouls. UNC has 11, only 2 in this half. UNC has taken 36 FTs, Wofford 14. And both teams have shot the same amount of threes at 22. Games at the Smith Center are almost unwatchable.
