At work I have logictech MK710, and it works ok. At home I have logitech MK550 but it doesn't work very well. The mouse is fine but the keyboard has lots of lag so I switched back to wired. I don't really do much PC gaming, but I do a lot of writing/work/etc on my home desktop.
So what are your recommendations? 11/18/2017 10:58:43 AM |

I'm using a K800 and M705 and like them
I had lag issues too though until I used the USB extender to relocate the wireless receiver, with it mounted on the desk behind the monitor I have no issues 11/19/2017 10:36:07 AM |

I thought distance was the issue, but I moved the dongle to the front of my case at the top. My case is under the desk, with the dongle not far (maybe 12"-18") from the keyboard, separated only by the wood desk. Still, the MK550 is laggy af. 11/19/2017 12:48:17 PM |

I'll always recommend the Dinovo Edge keyboard. This thing is still kicking and has been hands-down the best keyboard I've ever used. Still have yet to see one that rivals this thing. On the mouse side, I think I'm going to try one of those new Surface precision mouses.

At home I have a Logitech G900 mouse and a Das Keyboard 4 professional. They're probably my favorite combo yet. 11/20/2017 10:17:12 PM |

I have a Logitech K400R that works great but only has about a 4-5 foot line-of-sight range 11/20/2017 11:50:18 PM |

^I have 2 of those and right now I get about 12 ft on the one at home, but the receiver is on the back of the case, not the front ports. The batteries are also 3ish years old. I also have the "Couch Mouse" M515 and it has really good range, but the damn battery door will not stay on.
At work I have the M525 and really like it. No problem with range or battery life. 11/21/2017 4:02:38 PM |

^^I use one of those for my HTPC on the couch. It's 8-9 feet but line of site and works great. 11/21/2017 4:31:38 PM |

after recommending the m705 i just started having inconsistent clicking and after googling it's a not uncommon problem related to the spring under the left mouse button
so i retract my recommendation for the m705, i'm going to be replacing mine 11/24/2017 11:38:13 AM |

^^ can you turn off the led? i don't like most gaming mice because of how they look, that one isn't too extreme except for the LED

think it's just a mode indicator and doesn't stay on, but i've never paid attention to it enough to actually see if it does 11/24/2017 8:48:30 PM |

My favorite mouse is still my Logitech MX1000 that I got in 2004. It still runs great and I use it at work. Battery life is still solid as well. They just don't make them like they used to. 12/3/2017 12:24:36 PM |

^agreed. I had an MX1000 laser that came with my Logitech Dinovo Media Desktop Laser (that Dinovo line was/is some premium shit...) and loved it. I still have it, but the charger is now a pain in the ass to align the mouse on. 12/4/2017 3:08:29 PM |

^Take rubbing alcohol and use q-tips to clean all the contacts and it works like new again! 12/4/2017 4:25:30 PM |
