the thing you hear about programs that get to the "good" or even "very good" level and cant quite make the leap to "great" is that they cant get the same level of dlinemen, especially the depth of dlinemen, as your Alabama's and LSU's

that doesnt seem to be our problem. our problem is the DBs. can we just fire huxtable and hire chuck as the "DC" (recruiter) and some 30 year old wonderkid to actually scheme?

i think finley, especially in the nfl, has some traits that are likely to make a "20-20" guy - meaning he can go from the 20 to the 20 easily, but things get more difficult otherwise

but the play calling is absolutely part of the problem. no way a team with the running game we've had in past years and WRs like Harmon (and now a TE like Angeline) should struggle as much as we do

Finley struggles mightily when the field shrinks. He can't just throw it up and let his WRs get it. He doesn't have the arm/accuracy to fit the ball in tight spots so when the windows shrink he has problems and we don't score TDs.

This FSU team is more undisciplined than the team that got Amato fired.

Also, the student section is a fucking joke now. They need to cut their number of tickets in half. Such a poor showing.

We had tds 5/8 red zone, scored 100% red zone, put up 17 more on fsu than any team not named clemson and you want to whine about it. Pick your battles.

I’m disappointed we lost today as well but not sure you can blame just one player. Maybe one day we will be able to beat FSU and be ranked in the top 25.
