I've been three times. The Tonkotsu ramen is good. The Shio wasn't nearly as good. The appetizers are lack luster. On the whole, it's not bad, but it could be a lot better.
Also, it's a blatant rip off of Dashi in Durham. I had never seen a copy cat restaurant before. 11/26/2018 11:22:37 AM |

I didn't think it was very good. I thought the Ramen from Pho Pho Pho was better. Anything is better than Torii, though, I'm not sure how they stay in business other than being at the mall and leaching off Kanki.
I've been on a huge ramen kick lately. Just buying real noodles (even the dry ones) are a huge improvement. Making your own stock is definitely the best, but you can get away with dried stuff plus some miso and it's way better than quick Top Ramen. 11/26/2018 4:50:51 PM |

I think that crap is becoming more common. Oak City Meatball Shoppe is an embarrassingly obvious copy of the Meatball Shoppe up in NY. Menu format is almost identical, and insultingly the prices are about the same. They copied the formula so much that before they opened I contacted them to ask if they were an extension of the NY restaurant. 11/28/2018 10:31:16 AM |

Copying a restaurant states away is one thing. One just a few miles away is ballsy. If there were celebrity chefs involved there would be lawsuits. 11/28/2018 1:51:04 PM |

So just ate there tonight. Had the Shio and the Tonkotsu and really enjoyed it. The wings were amazing, too. It’s improved greatly from the last time I went. Looking forward to trying other broths. 11/30/2018 8:20:56 PM |

The only places in the Triangle to get good ramen are Rose's and M Kokko in Durham. H Mart has some Sun Noodle instant packs in the refrigerated section that are a lot better than Tonbo, Dashi, et al, even if they are a little expensive for instant ramen (two servings though). 12/11/2018 5:43:38 PM |

I wasn't personally a big fan of Noodle Boulevard, which is a shame because I live very close by now. 1/2/2019 2:50:19 PM |
