i like the open question, but.... how many seats required?
5/21/2020 4:36:41 PM
Really no requirement. Guess I'd prefer 4, open to sedan/wagon/truck utility but not a requirement. But don't have any preferences really. This is for a buy in the fall.]

- new chevy spark (Modern Chevrolet had them for $9999 last year when i bought my DD)- 2wd tahoe, PPV or whatever you can get for 12k- C5 Vette, C6 if you're lucky- 4 door 4x4 GM truck, love the ones with the full center console- CTS-V, would probably be on the low end in that price range, 1st genAnd for some real world chat - let's rewind to me last june.....I drove a 00 taurus for 2yrs after paying $800 for it. Excellent car, had some body damage but it was the appliance that worked 100% of the time. Put new tires on it, and then a few months later the fuel pump went out; after two failed fuel pump swaps (3rd time was the charm) I went online and looked at all the local dealerships' new inventory sorted by lowest price first. Ended up with a new '18 EcoSport for $17k out the door. Extremely happy with the decision, not to mention it was the first new car I've ever purchased.

Chevrolet SS. Pontiac G8 but that Pontiac hood and grille would have to go. Get some Holden stuff.

ended up spending double for a 2016 Golf R with ECU+TCU tune. Thank god the ECU tune takes the HP up to 375hp allowing it to escape the evil clutches of "appliance car performance" (stock hp was 292hp)

Congrats! Which tune did you get?I ask because I took my APR Stage 1 GTI to a dyno day and put down only 20-30 whp less than a "tuned" and boltons equipped Golf R. (I don't think he was very happy lol).[Edited on January 5, 2021 at 9:18 AM. Reason : ]
