And holding up his hands and a “decree” as he’s trampled by happy excited football fan students who want to see the game but can’t have that happy experience and now they are making their own solutions

Should be high scoring cause I don’t think we can stop their QB. I didn’t watch the VT game. But they allowed 7.2 yards per play to VT (only 5.8 for themselves). But they ran 80 plays vs 58 for VT. Hopefully we can move the ball on them and get our D off the field. But we’ll need an efficient offensive game for sure

I'd be happy if we won today. I do think it'll be close no matter which side of things we come out on.

Yeah Hock looked unbelievably bad last night. Couldn't read his progressions, had tunnel vision. The only plus side was that he only threw 1 pick -- but, that pick was, well, pretty dang bad https://youtu.be/kxhDMkSfurw?t=55. Also his QBR of 13.5 is hands down the worst of any QB I've ever seen play a full game

Defense looked pretty good most of the night but Liberty's offense also looked real bad. Honestly the game was really lost by Malik Willis and Liberty's WRs, if he wouldn't have thrown so many ints or Liberty's receivers would have been capable of adjusting to his bad throws, our ability to rack up penalty yards (looking at you, 2nd and 37; 123 total on the night) would have lost us the game.

^eh I’m not saying he was awesome vs FSU and Miami. But he was serviceable. He (and the entire O) was pretty terrible yesterday.

Can't tell either way in that video, but tv said Rooks was knocked off his route. Regardless Hockman was bad, two dropped snaps, almost every pass a short dump off. He was working off schedule with the penalties and pressure too though, oline was also pretty off.

And that 123 penalty yards is light bc we had the 2 for 1 unsportsmanlike offset and the offsides that went for 20 yards.

he's a true freshman (i know this year won't count toward eligibility) and looks like he's physically not ready to play, imo.

i wouldn't be against giving him some more snaps and series in games...but i get why he's not playing

Yeah, the "play Finley" crowd has been getting on my nerves... more reason to wait and see how Hock does and give Finley time to learn instead of just throwing him out there and seeing what happens, especially with a season as unexpectedly good as ours
