Doeren being real coy about the injury. Doeren said something along the lines of “we’ll see how Devin feels Saturday”, leaving the option open for him to play. But that seems really unlikely. It’ll almost definitely be Chambers.

We’re off next Saturday then host VT on Thursday. So then the Wake game would be 4 weeks from the date of the injury. But Doeren hasn’t given any real firm time table

I only saw bits and pieces of the game (guess I’m not a real fan). But our red zone offense is just awful. We have to figure out how to get TDs in the red zone. And that goes back even to when Leary was healthy.

On the whole our offense is constipated. We just don’t create many easy yards. Other teams, even bad ones, scheme guys open and have plays that result in a dude being open for a 10-12 yard gain (or more!). We don’t create explosive plays. Even on long, sustained drives we have to work so much harder to pick up first downs.

I know all this is magnified with out Leary. But we had a lotta these same issues with Leary. Even going back to last year. Leary and Emezie bailed us out a lot but we still lacked explosiveness.

In modern college football you gotta have an offense that can score 24+ points every game. Even a great defense will give up points in this era.

Beck is an easy scapegoat. I don’t think the problems necessarily all start and end with him. But the offense needs a serious revamp. Regardless of QB

I think we all agree the kick off guy needs to be fired. I think he kicked one out of bounds against FSU too. I say we give Chambers one more game and if he doesn’t prove he can complete some passes we starting giving the freshman lots of playing time.

Dave wants results now, this year, not prepping for next year. He knows there may be a bit of teh fan base that turns on him if he doesn't go to a bowl or sniff 9 wins. He's in win now mode.

We're okay on defense. The rest, is horrible. Offense no good. Special teams kicking ball out of bounds all the time. And the stupid procedural penalties, are you kidding me??? Some of these are so basic that they're inexcusable for a well established program (talking about DD being here for a while).
