Well I mean take English and America off the table. Say I could change the language of all French people who have French as their primary language and that they would forget French in the process. Like...why? What is motivating me to pick anything?

Maybe put it in terms like: A genie curses you. You have to pick a replacement language. You can't not choose because of the power of the genie's curse.

Majority of Americans suck at English grammar, punctuation, and spelling; maybe they will be better at the ones I mentioned.

Also, being able to speak the language of your enemy has to be very useful.
