I bought a cheap one of these. I got a 2018 f150 xlt work truck that has stupid like 4" screen. I have some ideas for mounting that go against the grain, because it would fuck with my superglued mounts that I love. Plus i love their ease and eye level.

Anyone have one? Most cheapos now are about 10" wide. Will post pics after delivered/installed etc

Decided against way i was going to mount. Bought some magnets and used existing mounts that i used for my phones. Now I got to figure out where to mount them. Probably to right and left of screen. So far so good

I've thought about that. But it is kinda nice to have a phone securely positioned. One of them like docks me points as phone manipulation if it moves too much etc. Plus can't read texts with carplay for whatever dumbfuck reason
