Like maybe a few are a couple minutes off? All within 5 seconds? Etc. just curious
11/2/2024 11:30:47 PM
The phone, watch, tablet etc are exact due to age the internet. I try to keep the car clock and the alarm clock within <1 minute of them. The oven, microwave, etc are whatever.
11/2/2024 11:40:58 PM
Man car clocks are often the worse. Coffeemaker you have to like have it start flashing to correct time and wait 3 seconds so easy to go a few seconds over. Oven/microwave are like to the second
11/2/2024 11:43:43 PM
I try to keep them all set perfectly to the second as calibrated with the phone at time changes, but the car consistently loses time and will be a minute behind in a couple months, so I periodically correct it.

My watch is a few seconds ahead^ just set it like 2-3 minutes ahead in advance[Edited on November 3, 2024 at 6:07 AM. Reason : suggestion]
11/3/2024 6:07:05 AM
That's just making it inaccurate in the opposite direction. How is that better?
11/3/2024 7:09:23 AM
You're early instead of late
11/3/2024 11:01:40 AM
Actually my alarm clock is intentionally set 90 minutes ahead of the current time. To force myself to do math while sleepy.
11/3/2024 2:06:09 PM
^^The cheat code is knowing that the clock is inaccurate.I appreciate your suggestion, but I do not plan to implement it.

Time for the great synchronization of 2025!We had an ef0 tornado come through the other day so I lost power...several clocks off since then. All within about 2 seconds now. I want to do better[Edited on March 9, 2025 at 11:32 AM. Reason : Moar]
3/9/2025 11:25:57 AM
You should perform this on an open mic
3/9/2025 1:29:46 PM
real exact
3/9/2025 9:38:44 PM
^just reminded me to check my coffee maker. I set it like 3 times...keeps getting off somehow[Edited on March 9, 2025 at 10:42 PM. Reason : Off again. Wtf...]
3/9/2025 10:40:52 PM
did you remember to wax on? that's half of it
3/9/2025 11:01:52 PM
Don't understand wax on wax off but AGAIN off. Gonna have to google the manual. Flexbrew 49965 if i remember correctly
3/9/2025 11:10:38 PM
u can do it welp, I'm not tired at all but now I'm going to force myself to sleep lie awake for 5 hours with agonizing thoughts, only to wake up 2 hours later and realize that it's Monday and I have to endure another bullsh*t pointless meaningless abysmal work daygood night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3/9/2025 11:16:23 PM
I am getting into taking a video of time being off after several times fixing territory. Its like it is syncing with something that changes time but always 30 seconds(later) away from phone
3/10/2025 1:25:39 AM
i like my clocks 30 secs fast, my CD player alarm clock from the 90s runs fast so it gets ahead by more than a min before its time to reset it in the spring and fall for DST
3/10/2025 6:55:40 PM
I set every clock to a slightly different time
3/10/2025 11:51:45 PM
My clocks are more accurate than Money_Joness neighbors
8/10/2025 10:02:20 PM
I am Money_Jones's neighbor]
8/10/2025 10:12:27 PM
Apparently! . . .
8/10/2025 10:31:28 PM
Have 1 really stubborn clock!
11/2/2025 10:15:50 AM
Done! Except my car which I will do tomorrow.
11/2/2025 11:28:58 AM
11/2/2025 12:48:44 PM
I think we change clocks today
3/8/2026 1:34:09 AM
Just went through this twice yearly charade.
3/8/2026 10:45:27 AM
Don't forget to spring back your clocks an hour!
3/8/2026 11:37:19 AM
LOL!
3/8/2026 11:48:42 AM
permanent dst ftw
9/6/2026 12:11:03 PM
Permanent standard time is the medically agreed better option.
9/6/2026 1:06:09 PM
I enjoy the whimsy of every clock being slightly different But really I’m just lazy
9/7/2026 8:56:36 PM
I prefer Michigan Savings Time. That is a valuable second!
9/7/2026 9:01:44 PM
They're within a minute or two. Sometimes I go all summer without springing forward on the main clock on the wall in our living room, though, but not this summer.
9/7/2026 9:12:52 PM
Stove, microwave, and wall clock all about +/- 3 seconds..will have to do
11/1/2026 2:09:14 PM
All currently within an hour of each other, not too shabby
11/1/2026 9:08:36 PM
My oven is a "smart" oven that originally connected to the internet and kept its clock synced. The first power cut I had fried the wifi card though. It was under warranty so GE sent out a repairman to replace it for free. That one lasted maybe a year until the next power cut, which also fried it. After that, not worth replacing. So now its within ~30sec of being correct, as is the microwave.(The smart feature wasn't really even needed. Yeah I could preheat and see how much time was left from my phone, but not worth them stealing my data)

Why can't we just get creative with this?Maybe make the spring forward a national holiday so ppl can't say it messed up their sleep. Or maybe split the difference and adjust times like 30 min between daylight savings and standard time. I think mumbai and north korea are like half off from us now so we could be on same page as them. In all seriousness...why can't we think outside the box
