IDK i think we're fine in goal. Freddie was great in the loss and Bussi has looked more than solid. Losing 2 starting d men has clearly taken a toll. Hopefully ghost will be back for the next home game. Not as optimistic about Slavin considering his lack of preseason work. Something is obviously going on with him.

But yeah Svech has been pretty terrible. I wouldn't mind seeing him be a healthy scratch for a game.

I saw slavin walking at the fair on Monday with his wife and one of his kids. He was pushing a stroller, so I guess not a lower body injury?

I mean none of these injuries are likely to keep players out until anywhere near the end of the season, so that's irrelevant (IDK about carrier/robinson, but they don't make much money anyways)

Also, the canes have a ridiculous amount of cap space already and could add pretty much any player in the league at the deadline without needing to move salary.

jeez just think if we could stay healthy. Sucks losing PK, Freddie has looked down right terrible. wonder if they try calling up another goalie, try to grab one off waivers are trade for a good starter or backup.

Despite his 6-2 record, PK has also been wildly inconsistent, including the worst game of any hurricanes goalie this season and 5 out of 8 games giving up 3+ goals. The biggest difference between him and Freddie has been the team scoring goals when he's in net and Freddie getting a bunch of 1 goal nights from the offense. If Freddie had the same goal support, he'd have a winning record too. Also, the goalies they have in Chicago are not in any way, shape, or form NHL caliber goalies. This exact scenario is why they kept 3 goalies rostered all season and there was never any serious consideration of moving either Freddie or PK.

welp Freddie has lost or them has lost all confidence in him. the Bus about about to get a lot of work.

Maybe the team feels better when PK is in and that frees them up to score. Also, Freddie is not making the big saves early, when he does the team seems to score, then in the 3rd or 2nd Fred lets in stupid goals and the team folds and we lose or go into overtime.

we are still at the top with all the injuries. Don't think we stay there if Fred is and Bus are splitting time. We are going to need another 3rd goalie.
