Saturday night I'm driving home with the fam and at about 9:15 I come up on an accident blocking the road that had just happened. Police, EMS, Fire, everybody. People were walking out of the side streets from their homes and toward the flashing lights. We saw sheets. We turned around and went the long way home, talking about the "what-ifs". Yesterday our kids school sends out an email mourning the passing of one of its 2025 grads. Odd, but he would be 15 and the news article originally said 17 (possibly standard when a minor is involved). Well the kid that passed and his family all live right off of Cole Mill Rd, a street away from the scene. I'll let you read the article on who it was that hit him.https://www.wral.com/news/local/mike-krzyzewski-grandson-charged-deadly-dwi-crash-teen-bicyclist-april-2026/

Don't have to read the article, it's right there in the link! Also pretty wild that a kid graduated high school at 15!Also, clearly you didn't come upon an accident that just happened if police/fire/ems/everybody was already there! Also, this is very sad! ]
