of the failure to appear over the July 2002 incident in which he was ticketed by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for driving a 30-foot powerboat at high speeds and creating a wake in a protected manatee zone near downtown Miami. It was due to a clerical error and his lawyer was not notified of the court date. He’s 100%
innocent and you just can’t ruin his life over some bogus charges!

People running over manatees with boats is a much better situation than drivers hitting deer with their cars if you think about it. At least the manatees have a decent shot at going about their day after getting run over by a boat (especially jet drives/PWCs). Most deer aren’t getting whacked by a car, then get back up and walk back to their buddies. You never see cops out enforcing those deer crossing signs along the highway with speed traps, why is fish & game wasting their time setting up stings in “supposed” manatee zones?

Why don't they move the Deer Crossing signs to different places away from automobile traffic. That way the deer will know to cross at the places with less cars and have a better chance of surviving.
