what gets me is that House never "got" Tritter back for all this shit. Sure, he pulled one over by getting his vicodin in rehab, getting Cuddy to lie for him and getting the judge to talk him down a bit, but Tritter never really took the fall that I think we were all eagerly anticipating.

Somehow that left me unsatisfied. I don't think this has been totally resolved, especially how Tritter said 'I hope I'm wrong about you,' like he's still going to be checking back in on House. Plus with everyone (except Wilson) thinking he doesn't need vicodin anymore, House is going to have serious trouble keeping up the habit...

wtf. that episode sucked balls.

1) they all agreed to an antiquated, super controversial, dangerous technique with about 5 seconds of argument because House "made a convincing argument".
2) they induced amnesia on a guy without trying drugs or any other treatment first, without consulting his family or even corroborating the story that his brother and the girl were engaged. then found out that wasn't even the right problem anyway. uhh, hello malpractice lawsuit.

but aside from the weekly medical mysteries (1 and 2), the real story of the night.
3) Dr. Milfy McBitchy fabricates a single document of evidence and with no further investigation than 15 seconds of cross examination, the entire case is thrown out, which is all irrelevant because
4) regardless of if House obtained Oxywhatever or a placebo from the dead guy, the intent was obvious. He thought he got Oxy from a dead guy, so what he actually got and took is irrelevant. That's like throwing out an FBI sting case because undercover agents sold fake drugs to a dealer.

1/2 this season wasted on this shitty ending. THey had a good chance to really put House's feet to the fire (and expose his unethical and dangerous practices) and do something different with the show, but they pussied out and finished it on a bullshit technicality.

Yeah that fits with the one episode where House's parents dropped by, he seems ok with his mom but he gave his dad (played by R. Lee Ermey) hell the entire time. At the time his dad didn't seem that bad but he did seem pretty disciplined.

I watched Grey's Anatomy in its first season. Once other folks started watching it and sharing their insights, I kinda lost interest. Same thing happened to me for Desperate Housewives. One and done. I agree that the nicknames are silly.

And I woulda chosen House, too. But that's cause I'm sick.

It was alright. Definitely a change from the House norm. A few parts I liked were how different Chase, Cameron and Foreman's suggestions were about what he should tell the girl about his life, and the general arguments in general between House and the girl.
