don't ever get someone in a habit of picking their feet off the floor during a bench. it's a dangerous habit, it doesn't make for a better lift, and it will get you redlighted faster than lifting your ass ever will at a meet.
just get your buddy to dig his shoulder blades in and then rock back towards his feet before lifting. That way he can just focus on sliding forward on the lift instead of up. 1/23/2006 11:13:49 PM |

I'm astonished, simply astonished, that I can run a 7 minute mile, and I did it with considerable ease. I think I might shoot for 6 on friday.

An actual around the track mile. I did it in a smidge over 7. I was surprised as fuck. The last two workouts are the first time I've actually run a mile in probably a good 4 years or so. I normally do the bike for 30 minutes every day after I lift so I'm in good cardio shape, and I'm built to run. I just couldn't believe I was able to touch 7 minutes. 1/24/2006 10:02:03 PM |
