Horrible game. I couldn't believe the incompetence of the umpires. I was sitting on the 3rd base side when the ball skipped over the bag. That was definitely a fair ball and he totally blew it! Baseball refs suck too!

That was bad...when you can see the ball mark about 6" inside the baseline and the third baseman for the other team even says it was fair not to mention it would've scored all 3 runners

well, the loss doesn't matter, it was a shitty midweek game... we started Knapp who has only had 7 appearances this season, I doubt Avent really tried to get the boys pumped up.


More worrisome is our inability to drive in runs, we left the bases loaded at least 3x last night. Mangini, who is known to strikeout with the bases loaded, went down 2x I believe with the bases loaded to end the inning. If our bats don't come alive and our pitching isn't consistent our stay in the NCAA tourney isn't looking as promising as it was early-mid season.


Hopefully a less than average VTech team will help us pick our shit back up and get ready for FSU and the regionals.

ok well that game yesterday should have been ours if Man-gina could have made some plays, but we're a 2 seed still.


We're in Texas's regional, so that sucks, but Its double elimination and I dont think Mangini can play that bad again, and if he does he wont play all 3 games. Hopefully we can advance and see some more baseball...this has been a pretty sweet season, even though the last few weeks have been tough.

^yeah, Mangini was responsible for 6 of those runs, the innings would have been over.

Drew Martin has really come to play and Avent put him in yesterday after Mangini's last blunder. Avent will have a tough decision to make before friday.... however i don't think Avent gives a fuck about hurting someones feelings, it's all about winning (as it should be).
