I was disappointed with the ending of the game. Hopefully it will be better on a harder setting. I love the graphics, esp when running. But I def think the chainsaw makes the game!

I bought an Xbox 360 yesterday and this game

me and my friend played it for about 7 hours yesterday and beat the first 3 acts...

I went to buy it last night after picking up my 360

I got a bundle deal from EB games with Ghost Recon, but they wouldn't trade it for another game, so I went straight over to Walmart and returned it there for store credit

But they didn't even have Gears of War... as in no place for it in the game case even... which is weird because it is on the front page of the 360 sales on their website. Even had them call a Super Walmart and they didn't have it either. So I got Call of Duty 3.... and went to Blockbuster & rented Gears of War...

So far I really like it... but I don't know if I'll buy it. It just doesn't seem all it was hyped up to be. I may have to buy it just to whoop MOODY's ass in live & talk shit to him though.

^co-op is crucial for the big firefights in hardcore and insane. I can't even count the number of times I've watched dom rush into the middle of things and die instantly, then I get rushed by 3 guys.

co-op is more fun i think

the enemy AI is crazy in this game

you never know when they are going to jump or just straight bum rush you

casual and hardcore are too easy...insane is fun single player, but with 2 guys it was a little easy too...try beating insane (including raam) by yourself...it's frustrating

i'd be playing online a lot more if i didn't get a wii and zelda for christmas

Ok noob question but when Im firing the shotgun short range should I be aiming at the body or aim higher at the head??? Reason Im asking is Im gettin my ass handed to me online. Someone would come around the corner I get off not one but TWO shots from my shotgun on them and they keep coming get one shot off and I am dead. Still fun but pissing me off. What am I missing???

3. one shot close range is better than 2 medium range
4. practice with the pistol...3 hits and a melee and you have a kill

Yeah, i get the sense that more of teh storyline will be revealed in the next release. Not much was really released in this one. I get the feeling that the gears are being "setup"

the 2 new maps were out Wednesday, they are alright i guess

on one of them you squad gets split up and 2 teammates start on opposite sides of the map
