if i had to ditch the hawk (which aint gonna happen until i see some serious structural damage to the frame) and get something else withing my budget, i would probably get a superhawk. they seem to be undervalued, 2500-3000 gets you a 2001 or so. im not even gonna start with what i would get if i asnt on the budget but that's not happening either

Squirt I would go with the first of the two because you can wear leather more of the year than the mesh, plus leather is just safer b/c it makes you slide and not tumble. When summer comes you can get another jacket for like $60, so no rush for summer gear when it's getting cold now.
