Blake (in Yahoo leagues) can play 1B, 3B and OF so he's a nice pickup, plus the Indians lineup is pretty solid which automatically gives him a leg up with runs and rbis

Both have their flaws, but I like Braun's upside alot. He'll hit more HRs than Blake and he is currently batting 3rd in a pretty strong Brewers lineup. Plus he gets to face shitty NL Central pitching half of the time. Blake had that long hit streak, but otherwise he hasn't done much else. He position eligibility is a big plus if you need another 1B or OF. I still take Braun though.

I just traded Robinson Cano and Harang and got Halladay, Valverde, and Freddy Sanchez.

Oh yeah, and I am finally dropping that douchebag Wheeler.

Thoughts on that trade?

Also, what do I do with Carlos Delgado? I already have Prince and Pena. No one wants him in a trade, but I dont need 3 1st baseman. My other predicament is that my OF is stacked. Hunter, Soriano, Pence and Pierre. Between 2 1st basemen and 4 OF, we can only start 1 1B, 3 OF, and 1 UTIL. I need to do something with this.

Delgado is a tough sell...he hit a few clutch homers against me in my league last week but he's fairly low overall on the 1B rankings

plus you've got guys like Youkilis, Blake and Berkman (who i have all 3 of btw ) who not only are ranked higher, but can all play 1B/OF or 1B/3B/OF

i'd try to trade him with the "but look at his performance over the last month/week! he's on fire!" angle...he could be kind of valuable if a Pujols or Howard gets injured

I'd try to package together Delgado (or Pena) with Pence or Pierre to try and get a position you are weaker in

i've been starting hanley ramirez at SS all year, and my OF is currently carlos lee, juan pierre, shannon stewart (3rd OF has actually been a revolving door all season).

in any other year, i wouldn't hesitate, then again, if it were any other year, i probably wouldn't have a shot at bay w/ hardy.

bottom line is, can/WILL bay turn it around second half, and will hardy continue his pace (he's actually already slowing down ALOT)

i'm leaning towards accepting this deal, but ..... thoughts?

also did anybody else notice today Oliver Perez (Mets - SP) allowed 5 runs but got credited with zero earned runs? zero according to yahoo, mlb.com, espn baseball tonight box score...everything i've seen...and the mets only had one error...and Perez comitted it!!
