I've gotten that close so many times now that I'd prefer a system that actually works

that big error on page 8 is what happened when I tried to finalize my order

[Edited on May 20, 2007 at 6:22 PM. Reason : so I basically started back at billing info, and now I don't know what's in my cart]

"Due to the astounding demand from Pumpkins fans all over the world - from Auckland, New Zealand to Rome, Italy - ticketweb.com’s servers crashed shortly after 1PM. Ticketweb’s technical crew has been working feverishly to remedy the problem, and has been for the last several hours, but it is not yet fixed.

Here at The Orange Peel we are fielding phone calls and emails from frustrated fans who have been trying unsuccessfully to buy tickets online. Because of the servers’ difficulties, the shows ARE NOT sold out. Only a relative handful have been successful at completing their ticket purchases.

We are 100% sympathetic to all of you who have been forced to endure this. We will post more information as soon as it is available."

"YOU GUYS ARE SO PATIENT and SOOOO PERSISTANT. I am amazed by the fans - you guys are awesome. Almost everyone who's called us on the phone has been a reasonable, sane person which we so appreciated since this has been completely out of our hands. I hope everyone gets through tomorrow - we are going to suspend sales very soon til tomorrow.

Stick around for an announcement momentarily..."

I just got a message that says "No tickets are available through ticketweb.com"

I am assuming this means that ticketweb and the orange peel have called this thing off until tomorrow morning.

If y'all like, I can try the phone line again and let you know what they say this time. I'm fine with calling back just to let them hear me bitch again.

I figure it doesn't matter how many I end up buying: somebody will want them

so six was okay

though I don't know how six showed up when it was two per show

probably something to do with my refreshing tabs

unfortunately, unless they forgive you because of the madness going on, they'll probably deny you those extra 4 once they see what's up.

lets hope! i never got to see them and i loved them growing up (via my dad originally ). So having a band come back after being dead for like 7 years that you never thought you were going to have a chance to see live? Its worth spending my whole day here if i get tickets

I saw them play on the Adore tour at Ovens Auditorium in Charlotte. I think that place only holds about 4 or 5,000 people.

It was fucking phenomenal. I don't want to miss out this time around, either.

Secret destroyers, hold you up to the flames
And what do I get, for my pain?
