I love State. I love football, basketball, and anything else. But good Lord, State needs to pick it up in terms of basketball. I'm not picking and choosing anything. I don't pull for Duke when they play State. But I'm not going to abandon my years of being a Duke fan and automatically hate them because I go to State. I don't run around campus in a Duke shirt - can't say the same for the Carolina fans that go here. Bug off.

I think they matchup pretty well. I've seen a few of Villanova's games this season. If Sheyer & company are clanging the iron from the perimeter then Duke's toast....... Gerald can't do it all but i have a feeling that Coach K will ride him again w/ a similar game plan as Texas

^^ I think you may have asked me in another thread why I thought 'Nova was a tough matchup for Duke... mostly athleticism. 1-5 they are one of the more athletic teams in the country and they play a TOUGH philly style of ball. Duke certainly could win the game I just think Duke tends to play better in the tournament against a less physical/athletic style of basketball... Having a guy like Eliot Williams as a major part of the rotation now for Duke is HUGE in overcoming that. Shocking that he didn't play earlier in the year as much, even though he was inconsistent.
