the officiating in this league is fucking terrible. i'd rather they just admit it was fixed then let me believe they are that incompetent.

It's sort of like the ACC only with less flopping and fewer white guys.

I think the Magic are much more exciting to watch than the Cavs.. The only fun player to watch on the Cavs is Lebron... Magic have Courtney Lee, Rafer Alston, Dwight, Rashard.. all exciting players

i'd say the same about the Nuggets as well

Howard is the only exciting player to watch on the Magic

theres nothing exciting about everyone else on the team getting passes from a double teamed Howard and jacking up 3's

Lebron by himself is more fun to watch than the entire Orlando team

of course

and for the record, Alston is fun to watch, but his role with Orlando is basically get the ball down low and be open from the perimeter...a shell of his Rucker Park glory days

If the Magic make it to the finals, the Western Conf finals are for the championship.

Kobe ain't losing to Dwight Howard and frankly, I'd like to see Kobe get HIS trophy...

I don't have any statistical evidence to support this claim, but I'm pretty sure John Hollinger or basketball-reference or 82games could back me up, Wally Szcerbiak is one of, if not the worst player(s) of the last decade. I hate guys who try to play better than they are. Szcerbiak is a classic case of the over-confident, wannabe scorer terminally inducing eye-rolls and head shakes with an array of forced plays and bad shots. Its a testament to the impact of a young Kevin Garnet when one realizes that Szcerbiak actually made an All-Star team.

I think it'll go 7 games, but because they don't have anyone to match-up with Rashard Lewis coupled with their lack of a second scoring option and absolutely no punch off the bench, the Cavs are going down. The Lakers will pull-out the series against Denver, after which they'll likely beat the Magic.

Some will point to this chain of events as absolute proof of Kobe's basketball supremacy. Others will point out that team success doesn't necessarily reflect individual ability. After all, the Lakers second best player is a 7-ft All-NBA performer with a world class pedigree while the Cavs second best player is a 6-ft All-Star alternate who spent the majority of his professional career jacking up mid-range jumpers for the NBA's Siberia, Milwaukee Bucks. And the Lakers 6th man is one of the most versatile players in the league, who'd basically be starting were he on any other team, while the Cavs 6th man is the aforementioned, hair gel enthusiast, Wally Szcerbiak.

Orlando sets a team record for 3-pointers while shooting 44.7% on 3s and it still comes down to the last possession of overtime?
If their shooting cools off AT ALL, Cleveland can still take this series.
