Just picked this up, looking to roll a Bounty Hunter Mercenary (Arsenal). Anyone have any experiences with this in PvP? Looking to do a lot of that, and a little bit of pve.

haven't played a merc enough to know them in pvp. and i suspect they turn out considerably different than powertechs.

One thing I've noticed is that there are a LOT fewer people spamming /trade with stories about how awesome SW:TOR is.

There were so many people on WoW, talking about how awesome Rift was, that I knew it must suck.

Maybe this SW game is pretty good...

there have been so many "wow-killers" that anything said at this point is dumb.

i know this game has been called a wow-killer, but i think its the buildup of the other games and since i haven't played since the first four bosses of ICC were released i have missed out on the silly changes they have made to a lot of classes.

i won't go back to wow because the game won't really regain the luster it had when it first came out that a lot of games have when they are first released.

whether or not this game holds my attention for more than a month determines what there is to do after hitting the cap.

Between lifting 3 times a week, work and a girlfriend I won't be pulling too many all-nighters with this game like I did with WoW but from what I've seen thus far, this may be the game to pick up the mantle from WoW dying a slow and long overdue death from within.

what is the best way to learn orange armormech schematics? i read that you can get them from UT missions, but haven't had any luck so far. is that the only way? can i gain anything from REing my artifact crafts?

I think I do okay on my class missions but when I'm in a group I feel like a bumbling idiot. Everyone else is shooting and cutting people down and I'm trying to find someone to hit with my lightsaber. "Oops, that guy is moving towards another player too fast for me to hit. Dang it, this guy is right in front of me but it takes forever to target him, close in, and attack." Is this a problem most melee fighters have or am I doing something wrong and/or suck?

Having a hell of a time choosing to play my lightning sorcerer or proto powerrech. Went merc BH on one toon and hated it. Stand missle, stand missle. Immobile turret.

Now that I am 16 and getting more healing goodies I am liking Merc a lot more. At first I felt pretty gimped with one heal that ran up my heat like mad. I typically don'd have difficulty finding some Sith who wants to be a damage sponge with their shiny toys.

The planets with large areas (ex Tattooine) really do take to long to load.
