I was trying to remember if anything had ever happened with Toby and Michael involving jam...

Couldn't tell if that was just something randomly thrown in or if I'm forgetting some time Toby tried to give him jam as a gift.

^^Uhh...no. It was his real life brother, who is also a writer for the show and the real life ex-husband of Angela.

Webcam images always look terrible. The lighting and angles make people look like shit. Its the main reason video conferencing never really took off.

He irked me. Pam and Jim really irked me too. The juggling was funny. But really the best moments were made up by the support cast

yeah he is gone. I thought Pam felt a little out of character this episode....maybe because she sounded different b/c of a cold? or something. I did like her eggs and bowling ball juggling lol...

I thought D'Angelo was an excellent foil to Michael, and very funny most of the time. I would have like to seen one or two more episodes with D'Angelo, to flush out his exccentricities.

For the record, the only Will Ferrel movies I've seen are Anchorman and Step Brothers (unless you count Old School). Maybe I'm not as disenchanted with his presence as others.

my favorite parts of this episode were the exchanges between deangelo and dwight... especially when he yelled at him

I don't watch the office, but that was the lols. What made it funnier was I did the Brian Regan voice in my head with it.

That's unfortunate to hear. I held off on Futurama vol 5 largely because I didn't like the first movie they did after the long break. The first movie was the last thing I bought, I heard the other three movies were just as bad if not worse.

Volume 5 went on sale a few weeks back and I almost caved, I figured that maybe the show would do better to move back to the 30 (or 22 or whatever) minute format. I guess it sucked then?

I was pleased to see that the opening credits had Dwight in the manager's office adjusting the placement on a little samurai rather than DeAngelo last week and Michael in all the previous seasons.

Dwight as acting manager for a few episodes would have been a lot better than Ferrell's few episodes. It's too bad they had to kill it so quick to make room for the finale and all the guest stars

Yeah, say what you will about the season as a whole being subpar, but these past few episodes have actually been really good.

I still think they're building up to Gabe being the Scranton Strangler. His unstable emotional state, not wanting to be alone with himself, Erin mentioning it was weird being touched by him.

Toby's statement in the post-credits scene for "Michael's Last Dundies" convinces me that the Scranton Strangler will resurface in some way and I think Gabe is the prime suspect.

I think they're building up to Dwight being the Scranton Strangler, everyone finds out, and he still isn't fired by upper management.
