Comparing DL vs. DL and things like that doesn't really make much sense. You have to compare OL vs. DL for the teams, etc. and then make your picks.

as others said, bad analysis.

NCSU has played stronger competition than ECU and are last in defense. We have a pretty respectable defensive ranking. I know this is all pissing in the wind and stuff, but you can't summarily give ECU the edge on the DL. That's not so bad but they lost credibility by saying that the DL stopped UNC??? UNC had 260+ yds rushing and scored 42 pts (like every other ECU opponent)

Also, not sure that you can give their OL the edge for a couple of reasons, they get rid of the ball so fast the line doesn't have to do that much blocking. Their running attack is opportunistic as opposed to a feature of the Offense, however they score .1 more than we do 37.6 to 37.5 and we've played tougher competition overall. So maybe that's a wash.

I think the game comes down to RW. I don't think our D is gonna overlook an offense that's just as powerful as ours. So to me it comes down to RW staying laser-focused and taking what ECU gives him, running when he needs to and not forcing. BC was masterful, VT: too much forcing when he could have run around like a kid in a playground. Problem is ECU can't bring heat like VT could. Which is why i still stand by my prediction 56-14.

That being said. Killpups you're exactly right. After much investigative reporting you guys are royally fucking yourselves. If only you played the religious kid and the other 4 "good" safeties. I pointed out that Steve Spence was a christian to illustrate that he's not your run of the mill thug that coaches have to deal with. Even though Coach McNeil is a big christian, that doesn't help Spence out at all. Spence half asses in practice and therefore doesn't see the field. Im sorry that I mentioned the word christian. It wasn't my intention to start a riot.

UCF is a much, much better team than ECU. ECU has gotten clobbered by UNC and VT. UCF kept it close against us and K-State. We should put up atleast 40+ against them
