^pshh this thread would probably still be at 7 pages if it weren't for me instigating a discussion.

I have no problem with people disagreeing with my opinion, but if you are too lazy and/or dumb to explain why you feel that way then you should probably just shut up.

we all know Bible and O Brien like to use seniority but one thing they do that I think applies here with the Haynes Greene argument is how they used to pull Wilson after a quarter and let him see what the defense was doing.

I think they are doing that with Greene...saying ok they are open in the middle or hey the outside is a good lane.

it helps, Greene comes in and just destroys. He is young, give him time. He will get his carries here no doubt. Let the kid wait.

It's been mentioned that Mustafa is a true freshman, that we don't know what's happening in practice, that Greene has missed obvious assignments, that Haynes hasn't gotten significantly more carries than Greene, and that Greene doesn't have significantly more ypc than Haynes. And that Greene will get his chance, probably sooner rather than later. There's really nothing else to say to you. Except that you're no Div I coach. And continually teling people to fuck themselves isn't a good argument.

and actually, mustafa has 102 carries to haynes' 80, to wilson's 86

Everybody likes Greene because he has a nickname and he was in the Lion King.

Dean Haynes doesn't have a nickname (although I call him Dean Cain, aka Superman) and therefore doesn't have the same fan support.

LOL, wat. The last 3 games his longest carry hasn't gone over 12 yards. If he was *that* good he would have torched ECU all day. If he is used as a premier Deon Lewis type guy, no way does he continue to avg 5 yards a carry. The defenses would be more prepared for him, and it appears teams are already preparing better after some of the runs he sprung on VT and Cinnci.

I'm not here to say the kid isn't good. But a lot of stuff goes into these great plays. Blocking, loosening the defense up, timing of the plays calls, setting the defense up by alternating backs. Dean and Greene run two very different ways. I think Dean can actually help set teams up for Greene to have a big play. They get used to this pound ahead north south running guy, and next thing you know you've got this guy that can cut and go around you quick instead of trying to go thru you.

I dont know how to freaking get this game. I live in Miami. The game is blacked out on ESPN360.com here because it's listed as being on the local CBS affiliate. However, the CBS here is broadcasting Florida/Vandy. Best I can find is maybe the streaming on the Raycom website?

I'm missing the game because of a wedding... who the fuck gets married during Football season?

Thankfully I can listen using TuneIn Radio on the phone.

I think this is going to be another game where the Pack starts strong... scores on their first drive, but I do not think they are going to let up in the 2nd half. I realize Clemson will be at home (huge plus for them), but I think the Pack matches up with them much better this year. I also think that the QB issue is interesting. It may be enough to spark their offense, but I think our D will put enough pressure on either of them that our D will be opportunistic. I'm calling a pick 6 and a fumble recovery in their territory...

Has anyone ever successfully streamed live video from a computer to the TV using the 360? I'm having no luck, and it looks like my only option at this point (aside from going to the bar) is to go buy an S-Video cable, which I assume will suck hardcore, or spend a ton of money and get a converter box then a DVI cable.

My laptop has VGA and S-Video, and the TV has DVI and S-Video (along with other useless crap)

^I didn't realize they had started making tv's with dvi now. You can get a vga>dvi converter, although I don't know of a local store that would sell it. Maybe a computer shop.

S-videos are cheap and they work. I used to run S-video to the tv and used the red/white from an RCA to run the sound into my surround sound, worked like a charm.

If you've got the ACC iPhone app, today's game that they are streaming is our game (since it's being broadcast on the ACC Network). I'm down in FL and the lack of NC State broadcasts made me purchase the app. I'm hoping this pulls through ftw when bball season rolls around. However, today's game is on the CW West Palm...woot woot! But I digress...
