Referencing CIA/OGA?
That graphic is kind of misleading when much of the world asks you to be their military; right or wrong, it's not like the U.S. unilaterally invaded all of those countries unprovoked. And it's not a U.S. thing to be the world police. It's a superpower/world's "leading" country(ies) thing... throughout history the most successful countries/empires have been the dominating military force in the world. If Iran had the success, wealth, technology, etc. of the U.S. and the U.S. was lower down on the scale, then Iran would like be more of a world police force. 9/28/2012 10:04:03 AM |

Sidewalk chalking provokes police
Amy Larson readily admits writing “9/11 Truth” and “9/11 Truth Now” in chalk on the First Street sidewalk over Napa Creek.
“I just want people to think for themselves,” said Larson, 29. “I believe we’ve lost a lot of civil liberties since the 9/11 attacks. I’m really concerned about that.
“This is political free speech,” added Larson, who says the investigation into the terrorist attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C. should be reopened.
Her chalk writing — which occurred Sept. 11, the 11th anniversary of the terrorist attacks — got Larson arrested on suspicion of vandalism.
A self-described political activist who had never been arrested, Larson said she was returning from the farmers market after buying fruits and vegetables when she started writing the statements on the sidewalk. A police officer stopped to talk to her, then left, she said.
“I was never told not to chalk the sidewalk,” said Larson, who is married and works in a wine cellar.
Five to 10 minutes later, the officer returned with her boss in an SUV, Larson said. She was first detained, then arrested for investigation of felony vandalism and booked at the Napa County jail.

Quote : | "Police Capt. Jeff Troendly said police had few options but to arrest Larson after she failed to cooperate with officers. She gave her name and that’s it, he said." |
Quote : | "Troendly said the city had reports of 40 other locations with similar graffiti. It does not matter whether the messages are written in chalk or spray paint, he said. “Graffiti is graffiti.”" |
Quote : | "Lee Philipson, Napa County’s assistant district attorney, said Larson was charged with a misdemeanor because of her lack of a criminal record. It took “hundreds of dollars in time and materials by the city to clean it up,” he insisted.
“It would not have just washed away, and it was found in several places according to the reports,” he said.
The exact number of public places chalked in Napa recently could not be obtained from Napa’s Public Works Department. “I don’t have the numbers of chalking incidents other than there have been a lot lately,” said Dave Tripp, a street supervisor for the city of Napa.
The chalkings, which have to be power-washed, are logged as graffiti, he said.
The city receives a lot of complaints about chalk graffiti from citizens who use the sidewalks and bike paths, Tripp said." |

This is out of toronto:
Quote : | "City of Toronto Workers Destroy Free Community Food Garden Amid Growing Food Crisis
Toronto, Friday Sept 28th, 10am
PEAS SHARE WILDLY!
Amid a growing food crisis, this morning workers from the City of Toronto were ordered by City of Toronto...Parks Director Richard Ubbens to remove all live plants and food from the People's Peas Garden in Queens Park. They were ordered to take the plants and food to the dump and lay sod overtop of this most beautiful free community food garden, without warning, without a chance to remove the rare heirloom plant species or harvest the food.
The garden was planted by Occupy Gardens and allies on May 1st, in defense of local and global food security. While the garden has been growing undisturbed for nearly 5 months, with the help of hundreds in the community, the city deliberately decided to have it removed upon the eve of the Autumn Jam: A Harvest Party and celebration of sharing, community and free local food, which is happening tomorrow from 12-6pm at the garden in Queens Park (northwest section).
The reason? The people did not have permission to grow free food on public land. I come from a city and country where one does not need permission to do the right thing. We are experiencing a "glocal" food crisis, where more and more people are lining up at food banks for kraft dinner and peanut butter, waiting lists for community gardens are growing, food prices rising, and our leaders are nowhere to be seen. Rather they are hiding behind their desk ordering the workers to destroy whatever hope we have left.
Again we need help sharing this story far and wide.
We will be having our Autumn Jam harvest party/vigil tomorrow as scheduled from 12noon-6pm in the northwest section of Queens Park. http://www.facebook.com/events/414496608609039/
As a side note - last Monday Sept 17th gardeners travelled to Ottawa on a Peas Keeping mission for national, global food security, where we planted a free heart-shaped food garden on Parliament Hill, at which point the RCMP stomped on the plants and threatened arresting people, we removed the plants and relayed the sod.
Thanks so much for your time and help,
In Peas, Lovage & SOILidarity!

They do have a point though. Food prices are increasing due to inflation, drought, demand, misuses such as corn in ethanol gas which is a waste, driving corn prices higher and cattle feed higher.)
So what better way to bring the demand down than to grow your own food? If we aren't allowed to grow our own food, that means we are the government's slaves because the only way to buy food is to have a job and the only way to get money is to have a job.]9/28/2012 6:04:58 PM |

That is like saying fractions of a cent don't matter.
You take any fraction of a cent away from $100 and you don't have $100 anymore.
Therefore, even though their garden can feed 50 people, that is 50 less people that use global food, and 50 more meals available to 50 more families. 9/28/2012 6:13:30 PM |

She told the Nanaimo Daily News, "I've been parking in the same spot for years and when the weather is hot, I leave my windows open. I have never heard of anything so ridiculous." The citation was issued for violation of Section 191 subsection 2 of the British Columbia Motor Vehicle Act which states that parked vehicles must be secured. Like many others, Ludvigson-Hill was not aware of the law. The officer told her that ignorance of the law was not an excuse, but eventually gave her a warning and no fine was issued." |

Here's one to make the blood boil:
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/03/06/nyregion/fatal-shooting-of-ex-marine-by-white-plains-police-raises-questions.html?_r=2&src=rechp&
Quote : | "Somehow the uncle, Kenneth Chamberlain Sr., a former Marine who had heart problems and wheezed if he walked more than 40 feet, triggered his medical alert system pendant. The system operator came on the loudspeaker in his one-bedroom apartment, asking: “Mr. Chamberlain, are you O.K.?” All of this is recorded.
Mr. Chamberlain didn’t respond. So the operator signaled for an ambulance. Police patrol cars fell in behind — standard operating procedure in towns across America. Except an hour later, even as Mr. Chamberlain insisted he was in good health, the police had snapped the locks on the apartment door.
They fired electric charges from Tasers, and beanbags from shotguns. Then they said they saw Mr. Chamberlain grab a knife, and an officer fired his handgun.
Boom! Boom! Mr. Chamberlain’s niece Tonyia Greenhill, who lives upstairs, recalls the echoes ricocheting about the hall. She pushed out a back door and ran into the darkness beneath overarching oaks. He lay on the floor near his kitchen, two bullet holes in his chest, blood pooling thick, dying. " |
The wrongful death suit is ongoing, and somehow a Grand Jury dismissed all charges against the officers involved.

Boeing Now Has A Missile That Destroys Only Electronics And Leaves All Else Intact
While the U.S. geared up for the second presidential debate last Tuesday, a building sat pulsing with computers, electronic surveillance, and security systems in the Utah high desert.
The unoccupied site was awaiting the test of a weapon the Pentagon requested four years ago to the day on 16 October, 2008.
The Counter-Electronics High Power Microwave Advanced Missile Project (CHAMP), led by Boeing's Phantom works, promised to change the face of contemporary warfare, and its test was a complete success.
CHAMP flew over the Utah Test and Training Range last Tuesday, discharging a burst of High Power Microwaves onto the test site and brought down the compound's entire spectrum of electronic systems, apparently without producing any other damage at all. Even the camera recording the test was shut down.
Struggling to contain his enthusiasm, Boeing's Keith Coleman says, "We hit every target we wanted to. Today we made science fiction into science fact."
