Stupid comments aside, what that judge did was pretty shitty. He had his judgement made before hearing arguments. And there isn't anything in the statutes to support his judgement.

I don't have a problem with CCH permit holders carrying at the fair, other than those that may go on rides which may dislodge firearms. I don't know if this is a real issue, as I haven't heard about it from the 4 (?) states that allow carry at fairs, so it could be a non-issue; but it is the first and most realistic concern about carrying at fairs.

The law seems pretty clear to me, but I didn't read the decision or what was filed. They could post signage and prohibit carry if it was private property per § 14-415.11.(c)(8), but since it's public property there does not appear to be any prohibitions in § 14-415.11 to prevent permit holders from carrying concealed handguns.

I bet this gets cleared up on appeal

(What Troxler should do is add a parade that happens during all state fair operating hours )
