Dumb ass ball handling, terrible play from Painter and Howell and awful missed FT's late. Just like the Indiana game. I loved the classic give State fans hope at the end, and have a ref take all hope away angle we got also.

w/out those two our offense is pretty anemic

This loss sucks. I think we're probably a better team than Stanford (haven't seen them play before today, but I was not impressed). Unfortunately, Wood fouled out and Leslie was hurt. Hard to win with those 2 on the bench - not to mention our FT woes. Wood has got to learn to not commit those stupid fouls. He is a huge offensive threat, and without him our offense takes a big hit. We just don't have enough scorers for him to be getting in foul trouble each game.

17 turnovers, 13-20 FT shooting (65%, missed some key ones down the stretch), while they shot 29-34 FTs, we gave up 13 offensive rebounds, we only had 8 assists on 26 made shots.

Brown is definitely one of our better players but he had some bad turnovers. One he dribbled off his foot at halfcourt and just watched it roll out of bounds. Another one CJW passed it to him in the corner, it hits off his hand and goes out of bounds, and then looks like he told Gottfried "it's not my fault".

We don't take good enough care of the ball and make way to many dumb decisions. Brown isn't a PG. With his skill set he should be killing people but he just doesn't have the leadership and doesn't take good enough care of the ball. He is the best we have for PG now though so we'll just have to live with it .
