When we learn how to close out and not do outright stupid things, we will be a great team next year. Games that are close this year will be blowouts. Close losses will be wins.


All just from learning to not make a long pass into traffic, or not make a soft cross court pass, or not dribble in between 3 guys, or not force a pass to a guy who is covered. Simple shit like this accounts for at least 5 possessions, which equals 10+ points.

Getting the details right makes a huge difference on the scoreboard.

^^ The Gatech was right after the Maryland one. The Maryland game was emotionally and physically tiring for the players, and you could see that effect against GaTech and once Leslie got in foul trouble , we were done.

Interestingly enough if Wood had been on a better team (made runs in the NCAA tourney and therefore played more total games not to mention utilized his talents better) he could have challenged JJ's 3 pointers made record. As it is now he is on pace to break 300 fairly easily.
