Duke is also a much better ACC team than national team over that stretch for various reasons. UNC during Hansbrough years are the only team that consistently beat them this decade..

2007, We actually beat UNC and Duke that year. I believe that was Sid's first year.

You been watching any ACC basketball this year?? Duke hasn't really humiliated anybody. And we match up horribly with UNC and much more favorably with Duke.

If we can keep up the perimeter D and stay out of foul trouble, I think we have a pretty good shot at beating Duke.

We cant even hardly beat BC. BC can't even get 100 people to watch them play including the players moms and dads.

They had one of the least athletic guys ive ever seen. He literally stood motionless as one of their own players smashed heads into him while going for a loose ball. Thats like one of those plays where youre playing in PE class with girls on your volleyball team and the retarded fat girl doesn't move and you crash into her

Belmont is pretty good, I'm sure lots of teams lose home games by double digits to Lipscomb

NC State: 16-7
Belmont: 16-7

NC State losses: Vanderbilt, Indiana, Stanford, Syracuse, Georgia Tech, UNC, Virginia
Belmont losses: Duke, Memphis, Middle Tennessee State, Miami-Ohio, Marshall, Lipscomb, USC-Upstate

so we have 1-2 bad losses depending on what you think about UVA, Belmont has 5 bad losses

clearly, Belmont is better than us

face can be extremely annoying some times.

We've almost beat better Duke teams with shittier State teams. Duke hasn't "crushed" anybody in the ACC this year, even the shitty teams. We're AT LEAST, an average ACC team.

So that means...we have a decent shot of beating Duke...maybe 30%.

The Carolina game, sure, but everyone saw that coming. We played well against UVA, just made a few crucial mistakes. BC plays with a fucking peach basket in a middle school gym -- I can't blame the team for losing focus a bit in that one.

Florida State and Virginia are in barring epic 8-game losing streaks to end the season

as shitty as the ACC is this year though, i think we get 5 teams in, and if we finish with the 5th best record and don't completely shut the bed in the ACC tourney, i think we can dance

Last few bracket projections I have looked at have us last four out after the UVA game. So keeping that in mind I guess its still possible if we win every single other game... which of course we will not.

I don't think nationally you have the same number of standouts in any of the leagues and our RPI is pretty decent.

I mean the PAC-12 is awful, Big East isn't as good as the last couple years and preferences are given to BCS leagues.

That said the GT loss is a killer and if they still look bad it will be a tough sell

We are going to be double digit underdogs and the moneyline will probably be +900, implying that we should win about 10% of the time.

I think if we get to 10-6 and win an ACC-t game we have a 50-50 type shot. We really need 11-5 or 10-6 with 2 ACC-t wins to confidently say we're a tournament team.

Look, you guys have been saying all season that we are a much better team than we really are. Be realistic, this team should be good but it's not. At some point you are your record. Not better, not worse. I think with the season almost over we've reached that point.

We're decent. But we're not good. I keep hoping we put it altogether, but let's be honest. It doesn't look good for us
