They kept messing up because Miami's RPI is 51. They said we were 2-8 vs the RPI top 50, then changed it back to 0-8. In reality we are 2-8 against the RPI top 51.

I've been to half the ACC, and it is by far the worst. Littlejohn is amazing compared to it.

only 9 ACC teams that were 9-7 have been considered, of those, 5 made it. in addition, and I may be wrong on this stat, but I believe VTech is the only team since 64 in the field who have won 20 games and not made it. now it's 68. We have to beat BC to avoid embarrassment, but as long as UVA doesn't blow us out, I still think we have a shot. A lot depends on Miami, unfortunately. We should beat UVA though, we came out so cold in that game and only lost by a point with a shitty end-game play. Duke is also winnable if we play them, but UNC has our number and it's tough to see us being FSU either.

assuming we win we play Virginia at 2pm on Friday

if we can win that, Joe Lunardi thinks we're in

^VT had 20 wins and didn't make it, but "only" had 10 ACC wins...if we beat BC and UVA, we'll have 11 conference wins...no ACC team has not made the NCAA tourney with at least 11 wins since like 25 years ago when only one team from the conference got into the NCAA tourney

What sucks is for all these blind resumes, they do 0-50 for RPI wins.

State is 0-8 vs the top 50

But if you actually take more time to look at it State is 0-4 vs RPI teams 0-4
and 3-4 vs RPI teams 5-55. Most of the teams state is competing with for the final spot have played shittier 0-50 teams, hence their better 0-50 RPI. For example:

They have tennesee in the last 4 out. Tennessee is 4-7 vs the top 50, hey they is way better than State right? Well Tennessee is 0-5 vs the top 25 while State is also 0-5 vs the top 25.
Tennessee is 4-2 vs 26-56 while State is 3-2.

So it's pretty stupid because it all depends on how you want to split up the groups.

But Tennessee is 6-4 vs teams between 100-200 While State is 8-2 so UT can GFT

My point is just that is dumb how they try to arbitrarily create RPI groupings because it can be very misleading.
