its scrubs. If scott wood was out there shooting 3's and CJ Leslie was banging in put back dunks, then sure...i'd be disappointed and embarrassed. But when you got walk ons and ~1 min per game guys doin it, its a bit different.

Yeah, I feel like the rules are a little different when its scrubs in the game. I'm a lot more ok with a Thomas DeThaey dunking to finish a blowout game than a Ty Lawson caliber player ( I use Lawson because I swear he did it multiple times).

it's like in football when one team is dominating and the parents get all upset because one team is "running up the score". it's the other team's job to stop them. you don't half ass, that's when you get hurt. take the starters out and you're good.

the lawson dunk at the end of that acc tournament championship game was incredibly infuriating, but at the same time that's the exact sort of thing that fuels the rivalry. i hated it because it was like kicking dirt in our face while we were already down, but that's what true rivalries are all about. i wouldn't have felt bad if the roles were reversed in that situation.
