so apparently if you swim the preliminary legs for a Relay and your country wins the relay final with different swimmers you still get a medal.

so do those medals count in the overall total or just the 4 from the swimmers in the final?

It's all relative. 100m and 200m are not long enough to really make you hurt. 400m is borderline. Plus, 100m is the signature event, so I just don't see him putting in the effort for 400m. I stand by my statement.

That is totally misleading because you don't need to train to sit in a meeting, whereas you need to burn a shit ton of calories to be strong enough to do pole vaulting/shot put.

^They used Bravo, CNBC, MSNBC, and NBC Sports Network to show sports live plus had a temporary basketball and soccer channel, but they chose to show table tennis, boxing, shooting, etc instead of swimming, diving, gymnastics, and track & field. The best way to do things would have been to make sure all track & field, diving, gymnastics, and swimming was shown live and then shown again in tape delay later in the day. Any leftover time slots on tv could have been filled in with the most popular remaining sports like USA Basketball and USA Soccer. Everything else could have been broadcast online like it was.

It is like a beeping that seems to coincide with when a swimmer lifts his head above the water.
