So I wanted an exciting game but not necessarily like that.

However, I am pleased that Anderson and Co. (and their fans) actually thought they had a chance the whole game. Makes their loss hurt a little more, and apparently I like other people's pain now.

Our first true road game in six weeks and six players score in double figures with 13 assists to 7 turnovers. It was a touch matchup and we came away with the win.

2. Purvis makes no contact on Anderson put back, turns into and 1
3. They call Jackson for holding Wood on inbounds
4. Call Purvis for a foul on the 3 when he was standing beside the guy who jumped sideways and still barely made contact.

Granted, we shouldn't even put it in the officials hands against a tam like BC, but that was awful. Glad we escaped.

The only other teams that are arguably tougher to play road games against are the Patriots, Celtics, Red Sox, Bruins, BC football, BC hockey, and UMass basketball

Not reading a goddamned thing in this thread. It was a great win, and damned fun to watch. The refs certainly didn't want us to win; that much is clear, but we did anyway. It was an ACC road game and records are thrown out the window. They wanted that game bad.

plus the jumpball when the guy barely even had a finger on the ball

good road win. realtimerpi's prediction was actually pretty close. they have us 1-6 in close games (decided 5 or less), if we can make that 3-4 or 4-3 (already won one today they predicted we'd lose), we could have 11 or 12 ACC wins. They basically have us in close losses in every road game but Wake since the ACC teams all have pretty strong RPI's.

ugh what a disappointing showing, but I'll take the W...only silver lining in the game is that we showed some fight in a close game on the road, with some VERY questionable calls at the end. Plenty of negatives to point out, though. Definitely just look like a bubble team at this point

And LOL at those hating on Wood itt...without him we lose that game, period.

the bottomline is we won the game, a game which we probably wouldve lost with many of our previous teams

i doubt many Duke fans were upset when they squeaked out a win over Butler for a national championship

when you shoot terribly from the free throw line, miss numerous layups, have your best shooter do nothing but foul the first 30 minutes of the game, and still come out with a road conference win, you accept it and move on

^^Comparing that Duke team to our team this year, Duke was about as good on offense and better on defense.

This year we are fairly better on offense and much worse on defense than last year.
