I didn't say they were top 50. But we aren't a top 20 team right now either.

So this type of game is to be expected on the road. Just because we pulled off one upset doesn't mean we're going to win every game this season.

I think we did a pretty good job that half to hang around despite not playing our best basketball.

I'd like to see us shoot more jumpers in the 2nd half because we can't score down low, we have too many turnovers against a Maryland defense that hasn't forced any turnovers all year, and they aren't in foul trouble anyway.

Or we could just keep forcing it down low even though it most likely won't be effective.

Howell actually has a good stroke from the outside. I wouldn't mind seeing him set up around the perimeter to see if we can pull Len away from the basket a little and let CJ Leslie go to work down low.

So I know that was a troll suggestion, but it was actually a pretty good one.


I'd also love to see us take some more 3's with Wood and TJ Warren. We're not getting good shots inside. If we keep up the good defense and take good perimeter shots we can still pull off this comeback. If we keep forcing it down low we have to worry about wearing ourselves out, wasting possessions, etc.
