If the Canes score a pp goal go to Bojangles the next morning between 5:30-10 am and say "I'm a caniac and it's bo' time" and you get a free boberry biscuit. Not all bojangle's have them by the way due to their weird corporate vs. franchise restaurants. I did it today for the first time and while the lady knew about the promo, she had no clue about the game. She said "they played last night?" and I told her yep, they scored two pp goals last night so can I get two free biscuits? She laughed and said no and gave me my one freebie. It left me with the impression that you could just do this everyday because nobody there probably even knows what hockey is, let alone if a power play goal was scored the night before.

There's one issue with Cam's game that hasn't cropped up in a while, but is more prevalent this season:

When he moves from right to left, if the shot doesn't come immediately, he uses the rest of his push momentum to go into a pad stack. While that does increase his net coverage on that side, it also leaves him dead in the water for anything on the back side, meaning he's 100% dependent on the center/backside D to come back hard and break up a pass.

On that particular play it wasn't so bad, since it was a big rush, and the puck just happened to get through. It can be pretty ugly on a standard 2/3-on-1, though.

Yea, he's definitely gotten beat a few times (I can remember 3 or 4 vividly) going into the the unnecessary pad stack.

It's weird, I don't remember it too much in years past. But maybe his early struggles have illuminated this.

In other news...this has been Chantel's best broadcast IMO.
