Wood, Lewis, Leslie, and Warren were terrible on defense in that half. That allowed Duke to build a big lead and then they started hitting everything they shot at the end.

this is just brutal. Lewis does the following every play.

1) Dribble around for 20 seconds and do nothing

a) Jack up a bad shot

or

b) pass the ball, go stand in the corner while someone tries to go 1 on 1.


We could not afford injuries this season with our razor thin depth. If Wood misses time and Lorenzo isn't back this weekend we're fucked. NIT bid might even be in jeopardy soon here if things get really ugly.

This looks like the 2000-2001 season all over again.

haha, i'm really not that disappointed in the team tonight so far. The 5 minute drought was woeful, but we recovered well. yes, we're down by 79 points, but what else is going to happen when the other team shoots 91% from the field? i mean, duke was still pulling away when we started scoring on just about every possession... i don't think our defense was really all that bad, we had bodies on their guys.

I said when brown went out that I thought we might be in trouble for the NCAA tourney if brown was out for an extended period, and that is still my position.

I don't know wtf is wrong with him but if he is back by the next game I think we still get in comfortably. If he is out much longer we probably won't.
