Which one of these two decks seems like the most fun/viable? Paladin N'Zoth Control: http://www.icy-veins.com/hearthstone/legendary-paladin-n-zoth-control-standard-deck - I would need to craft Cairne, Sylvanas, and Tirion or Druid Ramp C'Thun: http://www.icy-veins.com/hearthstone/legendary-ramp-c-thun-druid-standard-deck - I would need to craft Fandral and Twin Emp Vek'lor 4/28/2016 12:26:38 PM |

has anyone used Innkeeper (http://www.innkeeper.com/)? 4/28/2016 12:31:58 PM |

^^ I think the druid one is more solid as far as laddering. I was watching a streamer just melting people in top 20 legend with it.
The paladin deck seems more fun maybe but relies a lot more on draw order to be able to get the benefit properly. Noone wants to just bring back a loot hoarder. 4/28/2016 4:14:07 PM |

Went 7-1 with the druid deck. Only lost when I encountered another druid who just happened to get his C'thun out first. 4/28/2016 8:39:40 PM |

I realize Yogg is just supposed to be fun, but from everything I've seen, he just looks dumb. Pretty much every play ends in all creatures being wiped out and you milling yourself to death. The milling heavily targets the casting player, so this card seems more of a detriment than random fun card where either player can get wrecked. 4/28/2016 10:35:06 PM |

I really like this Priest C'Thun deck: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/502974-cthun-priest-easy-rank-five-anti-meta
And innkeeper is pretty cool if you are on hearthpwn a lot. It makes it easy to know if you can make a deck at a glance. I definitely don't have all the cards, so it's helpful.
I think Yogg is going to make some great Troldon videos, but beyond that I have no interest. They took one of the main complains of the game (too much RNG) and went crazy with it for some reason. 4/28/2016 10:55:26 PM |

find a class/playstle you like. Maybe even a specific decks that cater to it and find the cards that are common between them.
Dont buy all 40 at once if you need cards from across different expansions to make your target decks.
disenchant goldens you get so you can craft missing ones.
There isnt going to be an absolute best pack to buy unfortunately. 4/29/2016 9:09:47 PM |

Adventures are by far the best thing to buy, especially if you want to play Wild. If you want to play Standard then just buy whatever expansions are currently active. 4/29/2016 9:26:16 PM |

Has anyone tried to new Evolution shaman yet? This Icy Veins deck (http://www.icy-veins.com/hearthstone/shaman-midrange-standard-deck) is surprisingly cheap, but everyone is losing their minds over how OP Shamans are this expansion. (I mean, who doesn't want a 7/7 for 4? )

They will have to find a way to nerf zoo lock again or we are back to the meta of mirror matches all day because if you don't play that deck you don't win at least if you are trying to climb the ladder. 5/2/2016 9:23:42 AM |

How do you do that though? I despise aggro and prefer control warrior decks but you cant just destroy these zoo decks.
nerf the shit out of 1 drops? increase the player life pool? maybe cards that give the player more life just by being in their deck? 5/2/2016 10:38:57 AM |

More low cost effective board clear would help. As a Priest, you have to wait until turn 5 to play Excavated Evil or Holy Nova, which won't even clear things like Totem Golem or Imp Gang Boss. Shadow Word: Horror is one less mana but still leaves a good number of aggro minions on the board and kills your own early game minions. The only other alternative is Embrace the Shadow + Circle of Healing. This requires two cards to be in your hand and also wipes your own board. 5/2/2016 11:17:54 AM |

Nerfing 1 drop cards seems to be a reasonable answer. I've seen a lot of discussion on this as every other card generally falls into line as you scale up. Generally if you double a 2 mana card its equivalent to a 4 mana or triple its a 6 mana etc. 1 drops dont work like that if you doubled most 1 drops and said for 2 mana you can have that same card every single person would play it. I almost feel like they need to to just remove 1 drop minions from the game and save the 1 mana slot for spells or buff type cards. Either that or make 1 drop minions be very simple 0/1 or 1/1 with no mechanics so they fall in line with the mana curve.
Lower mana AOE would be good but things like eggs or imp gang boss already make AOE feel useless so not sure how much that would really help. 5/2/2016 3:57:56 PM |
