Guys take it easy... Chapman has been reviewing tape of UNC games and has noted that more often than not, UNC nails players at the plate on these types of plays. He might have looked safe but Chapman didn't even need to see it to know what happened.

I get the whole 'what about all the missed opportunities with RISP' argument, but UNC didn't capitalize with runners on either. They just didn't have a massive blown call that negated their 4th run.

In the end it went a lot like a few losses down the stretch last season and this season - very poor situational hitting. Speaks to the quality of the guys in your lineup when you're pinch hitting with guys hitting under .220 in a play or go home game.

The best offense in this last 3 year stretch was the 2012 team with Mathews, Canela, Turner, Austin, and Diaz, but the whole rainout with Rodon pitching against UF put us in a huge hole. Then last year the offense went bad for long stretches. This year was just a mess all around - incredibly frustrating with guys like Rodon and Turner having their final season be like this.
