Glad Wisconsin won, but damn it's sad to see those Arizona boys crying.

I'd take Towns over Okafor. Worst case is that he's Tyson Chandler and that's not a bad thing.

I enjoy how they're saying "where will the offense come from?" if Towns isn't in the game. I mean, I realize he's almost half their scoring tonight, but it's not like they don't have a handful of McDonald's All-Americans in the game with him.

What I would have done with the 1 second left on the shot clock play: pass the ball softly to Kentucky's worst free throw shooter and immediately foul him. He may miss the 1 and 1 and you get final shot.

I'll be interested to watch the Kentucky Wisconsin game and see how Kentucky handles the 6'9" dude that was draining 3s for Wisc.

ND should have at least had guys digging if not doubling down hard.

Coaches have to get better at end game tactics -- let them dribble down to 6 then foul? Come on.

Fuck. I was really rooting for ND. Now I have to pull for Wisconsin and that scum bag Bo Ryan. I think UK fucking dominates Wisconsin next week though. I guess I'll just pull for the ACC teams remaining now.

I would have rather arizona beat Wisconsin; I can't imagine some plodding big ten team that had to shoot like 75% from 3 to win last game beating kentucky, fuck the big 10

Wisconsin has too many white guys to be able to take down Kentucky.

Dekker and Karin sky aren't your standard issue white fits though. Ultimately UK is going to have too much size on the offensive and defensive ends for wiscy too be able to hang with them, but it'll be an 8 point game or thereabouts.

Was there time for him to even get the ball and catch and shoot?

^^ You do realize it was 6 seconds left and he had a freak of nature 7 footer chasing him every step of the way which probably limited his court vision. Everything looks much easier when yo're sitting on the couch munching on chips and dip son. A pass would lead to a easy turnover.

if 3 guys are on you and you cant see the court because a 7 footer is stalking you, shooting is probably not going to work out so well. Also, even if you throw a random pass, there is a 4 in 6 chance one of your teammates will get it.

They played an amazing game but It was a terrible decision partially due to terrible use of timeout .

There was 6 seconds left and he had to go full court with no timeouts . I dunno, but I would be concerned with just getting a decent shot off in time. Brey who I think is a very good coach made some questionable decisions which cost ND the game. I still believe Grant is the best PG in the nation this year and ND will have a very rough time replacing his contributions next year.

6 seconds is a lonnng time in end of game situations.
He should have at least dribbled toward the center of the 3 point arc to give himself more options, whether it be shooting or passing to an open man.

wasn't really a good out of bounds play, either. Was just get it to grant and let him do something. No screens or anything. Bad play-calling by Brey several times there.

id like to blame grant more for the last play but his teammates did a horrible job spacing the floor. no one was really open until it was too late. the moment was too big for brey. he just stood there clueless the last 4 minutes and hoped grant would bail him out

Who plays a zone that gives up inside shots?

skokiaan knows more about basketball than Pitino and Izzo combined

Travis Trice is a great name for a 3 point shooter
