Warriors in 5

they're healthy and too deep for Cleveland to keep up with

and they have 4 players to throw at Lebron

I see Golden State in 6 or 7. Lebron is still a baller and I don't see Golden State steamrolling them.

I can only imagine how loud that building will be. It was nuts 80% full in a mid January game with Mike Dunleavy on the team...

it won't happen, but if Bogut plays at this level for 4 games, it'll be a sweep

He'd have to win a lot of titles to do that. Even if you win more than 6, Jordan never lost in the Finals. That's why Montana is the best QB, no Super Bowl losses. Lebron would have to win a Bill Russell number of titles to cement himself as the GOAT.

Doesn't feel the same without the Finals logo on the court.

It's not "getting hacked" when you drive your forearm into a guys chest.

99% of the time the defender leans an arm or shoulder into James' body before the push off. He can't be stopped without them doing it. It's a foul everytime.

Lebron might be the most athletic player in NBA history

But saying he's the best basketball player ever shows that you probably started watching the NBA this century

making a shot isn't the goal. getting the ref to blow the whistle is

I know if you're in a "worst case we go to overtime" situation it's not as critical as when you're trailing...but wow, a fadeaway 3? For the GOAT?

You're right, a fadeaway 3 pointer is an efficient shot selection. Above questioning on the Wolf Web.

He's never been as aggressive a player as a fan would like to see in crunchtime.

^^could've driven to the basket...but sometimes he gets in the habit of settling for jumpers

It was an isolation play for the best player on the planet against a 31 year old AI. Watch the reply and type with a straight face that he was forced into that shot and he didn't settle for it.

Think as a TEAM the Cavs play better without Kyrie, otherwise its ISOs for him and Lebron...

When Deladova is in, they play a better team game, much more ball movement but less defense.

Actually, not having Kyrie on the court might make them better defensively.

I think they're fucked without him though. They need as much shooting as possible around Lebron. If Kyrie misses any games and Lebron somehow forces this to go more than 5 games it will be one of the greatest individual performances in finals history.

If I told you that a team that started some mixture of JR Smith, Shumpert, Deladova, Mozgov, Thompson, and Lebron would even make the finals let alone win a game you'd tell me I was high on crack.

This will be over in 4 games. Last night will be the best game of the series. Only chance Cleveland has is GSW going ice-cold or Curry getting hurt.

I was actually pretty impressed with Irving's D last night. He definitey went all out and did a decent job of staying in front of whoever he was guarding and wasn't a complete clusterfuck on screens like he usually is.

Cleveland wasted a huge opportunity last night. Lebron had a great game, Irving stepped up...decent games from Shumpert and the big guys....but Smith laid an egg. He's going to have to play really well for them to take a couple game. Don't see it being enough unfortunately.

This is such a stupid stat. What about the years Jordan didn't make the playoffs?

Lebron carrying the cavs in 07 to the finals should be a plus on his resume, not a subtraction.

LeBron is top 5 but not GOAT. Most athletic of all time maybe, actually that maybe Westbrook. Most gifted of all-time.

IT'S RIGGED AMIRITE! this is not even fair. The Warriors are basically playing Lebron for the rest the finals. This isn't the Spurs heat series. Titans going against each other. Just imagine the case if Shumpert his that shot then there would be no overtime. And Irving wouldn't have got hurt.

Hopefully Lebron already paid off the refs bc he can't go for 44 every night

What about the years Lebron didn't make the playoffs?

When Jordan got there (to the Finals), he always won. He never lost on the big stage. Hell, he never let an NBA Finals series even get to game 7, let alone losing multiple Finals like Lebron.
