I'm working a summer youth program in Mississippi and was talking to an LSU alum who's on staff with me about going to Baton Rogue if both of our teams win. But maybe I got excited too soon.

Even if we lose, we're not done. One more against Navy and then have to beat Coastal twice...will be tough, but not out of the question.

imagine some combo of Gilbert, Staley, Orwig, Williams, Brabrand, Williamson (if he is gonna pitch in the postseason), maybe Beckman or Adler. doubt Brown will be available but it's possible. Mendoza was decent on the mound at times last year, but not sure if he would be an option.

need to cobble together 18 innings somehow from those guys. I'd start Gilbert in the early game and see how deep he can go (think his career long is ~4) and hope we can use just a couple guys to go the rest of the way, then all hands on deck for late game.

hell of an outing from Piedmonte. needed that.

Pretty sure Williamson is done having TJ surgery. You would think Brown/Wilder could do an inning each game. But yeah probably bullpen games where you just get what you can out of each guy.

Is there a rule that says anything about the end of the bat being part of a batter's body etc etc?
