I don’t know how optimistic to be about Miranda. Coming in mid season and being thrust into ACC play. No real warm up games for him. No preseason workouts and practices with the team. I don’t know what reasonable expectations should be.

Yeah, he's supposedly 7'1" and pretty athletic, but because of the reasons you mention ^, I'm certainly not getting my hopes up. I really don't think he can be expected to come-in and really make any kind of significant impact in a half-season. Hopefully he'll surprise.

So he graduated and was doing a "prep" year Southern California Academy... is that JuCo? Was he playing this season?

Center isn't our main problem right now even, Burns played well in 31 minutes. Duowana was not good in his minutes but that was mostly in the first half when we had the lead.

I'd worry more that Joiner and Smith had to play an entire game and we pressed, not shocking we ran out of steam late. we have zero depth in the back court and Clark has been a complete zero for two straight acc games.
