however many ^^^ "some sooners allege" he destroyed recruiting records? that's pretty weak, but not necessarily false. still, he was never convicted of it (i say convicted because i don't know what word the ncaa uses). he called aikman racist and gay. ok, not very smart, but that doesn't make him dirty. he worked for programs that had recruiting violations. obviously the big one, but again, if the ncaa did due diligence and didn't find him guilty of anything, what's the problem? i'm not trying to say he's definitely innocent of past transgressions because in light of the current situation he's probably not, but when he was hired there was only a lot of smoke and no fire. as i said, i wish butch would've exercised more judgment with him, but if he was basing it on ncaa violations, there were none.

I honestly feel like the today's technology has done him in.

The NCAA got alerted when someone showed them the tweets. Then the pictures from the party started. And more tweets and facebook status updates.

Now bank records and wire transfers were available back then, but those wouldn't have been checked if it weren't for Marvin's Tweets. Now they're going through email records.

It was a lot easier to keep this shit under the table back in the day. In today's information age, it's almost impossible. Especially when you have dumbasses like Marvin Austin flaunting shit all over the place.
