suburbs of wilmington, DE.
why is it that im having so many problems with these sites the past few days?
europoker, a pokerroom skin just shit the bed on me twice in a few minutes, and no tables are running. Was in the middle of 8 tabling actually, and everything just locks up. had 3 active hands, i wonder how theyll handle that.
the entire network is down.
it has been happening like, directly after i deposit and start playing.
ahaha
neteller, pokerroom yesterday, same network today.
mother fuck

this is interesting.
according to their cashiers, i have a real money balance of $-PP
and a bonus money balance of $-27790.77
on europoker, which i dont have any bonus for, was just playing with a rakeback.
it appears as if everyone who has been able to log into any pr room has had their accounts zeroed.

You shouldn't have any problem registering if you're gonna get there a few days early... they will be prepared for the huge turnout. I heard registration for the first was a nightmare last year, but that was from people who arrived like the night before the event. Just ask one of the employees when you arrive, they'll be able to help out. 6/22/2006 4:40:05 PM |

Yeah, so I come back from a 2 month long deployment to find that online poker is now illegal in Washington. In fact, it's a felony. They claim that the intent is not to bust small time players, but it still makes me nervous to think that me playing internet poker is equivalent to possessing child pornography in this oh-so-great state. 6/22/2006 9:14:31 PM |

maybe they think if they stop us from playing poker we will spend our gambling budgets on the lottery???

yeah, that washington law is crazy. i remember the wording of it was very vague. it would seem that it was more geared toward busting people that ran gambling sites in that state, but it could easily be worded to bust any user. 6/23/2006 5:43:35 PM |

ok....I have a hand i have been debating with my boyfriend about for the last couple of days.
I was playing in a 1/2 nl game. I have 460 in front of me and am playing with a bunch of people I typically play 2 times a week with.
I am seen as a pretty tight player that only plays pretty nut like hands and I will go with the image. So last hand is called as a few poeple are cashing out and I look down to JJ- 5 handed. I raise to 10 expecting to take down 3 dollars and move on......
1 caller. It was a guy named tom and a few of you guys might know him. He just calls from the small blind. The flop comes 6h,4s,4h. He checks and I bet 23 dollars he is like wow Amelia I don't know I have a monster calls and stops the dealer and makes a big point of checking blind. 10s.
I bet 60 here. I have now put him on a hand I think he has queens or 9s-7s an over pair to the 6s. As and Ks he would have reraised preflop so that is what I was thinking.
I have bet 60 maybe 3 times in 5 weeks....... He has me count my stack...take a shit ton of time gets clock called. Asks me if I want to check it on the river if he calls the bet....etc...... He finally decides to call. and Checks the river 8s.
I say Tom your over pair is good. I was right he did have qs.
So I was wondering for those of you that play me....what range of hands do you put me on here......and would you just call on the turn? Is that a GOOD move?
I have problems wiith this hand....On his side calling there is terrible because he doesnt find out anything, the thing is I think he should raise here, but I know he didn't want to cause I had way more than him and he THOUGHT he was BEAT.
On my side, knowing that lately he calls with what he thinks is a losing hand is his hole for the most part he is right. I think after committing the 60 dollars on the turn the 125 dollar bet I was thinking about betting was lost money. I was also thinking of saying tom your queens are no good, because he tends to believe people. I have seen him call 500 against a made hand cause he wanted to make a point......
would you guys play this differently. I had made a few other plays at him in the evening because he is like the only person I can read like a book and destroyed 3 of his earlier hands if you think that makes a difference. 6/30/2006 10:26:23 PM |

It is very apparent also in his turn bet calls..........I am trying to blame it on frustration. I have seen him do it way too much though so now I will have to call it habit.

so last night, I'm playing
I have QQ, flope is 7QK rainbow, i bet HARD, everyone is out, except one guy who is up on me like 4x in chips, cold calls. turn is a 5, I raise, he calls. river is a j, I go all in, so does he.
Fucker has KK.
Which leaves me with 25 chips. Blinds are 100/200. Next hand I go all in, I river a flush
225 chips
Next hand I go all in. River a straight
600ish chips
Next hand I go all in. River a flush
1250ish chips
Next hand I go all in. Two pair, win
6000ish chips
Next hand I go all in (finally AJ this time)
two pair, I win.
Im sitting at 15k, the shit who beat me 5 hands ago is at 5-6k. He goes out a few hands later. Needless to say, the whole table was freaking out because I literally was pulling AK/AJ/KQ/KK/KJ everytime and it was reeetarded. 7/2/2006 3:56:46 AM |

I limp in utg, wont name hand yet bc its the the action matters in this particular situation not the actual cards. It is raised to $7 or $6 by seat 5. 3 callers. I make it $20 more when the action returns to me. Original pre-flop raiser folds. Player in seat 6(button) contemplates for a moment and then just calls.
Flop comes 8c 9c Tsomething. I move all in and am called instantly. I turn over AsKs Seat 6 turns over AcTc
I must say its an instant call on that flop yet I'm wondering why he choose to see the flop in the first place. He knows "I have an over pair" as soon as I move in.
My small bone to pick is the analysis of the action. Limp raising, and after a re-raise at that, usually significes a hand that one chose to trap with. And what better hand to do that with than Aces. He has an Ace in his hand so I can correctly assume that he might doubt that I have 2 in the hole. So It would either have to be some combination of AK, AQ or maybe a pocket pair. Either way any combination will have him dominated pre-flop. His only hope is to hit the 9 remaining clubs in the deck or flop a bunch of T's
I assume he reasoned that I'd raise with KK-TT because I dont want to get out flopped. What he failed to notice was how having my raises getting called with hands such as Qs7s and Kc9c convinced me to start just calling with premium hands in hopes of a raise so I could isolate. I guess it wasnt noticed though seeing how I was rarely involved in a pot since I played so few hands.
What I really think was it hand nothing to do with the cards at all. I reason it seemed like a blatant pre-flop steal attempt in his eyes and he felt his hand was stong enough to take some random hand. I will definately do it again because Ive found a way to make it very profitable. Any situation where you can stack your opponent is worth repeating.

that is all for the post flop analysis
