the futurecast on weather.com is laughable. its showing snow up around Charlotte now, with other moisture along the coast. It makes a big u-shape around the triangle. Then as the storm pivots it does so around the triangle.

wilmington bridges are icing up and everyone's about the leave work. the I-140 bridge over the northeast cape fear river is already shut down with a wreck on it. asphalt parking lot at work was starting to ice up, so the roads won't be far behind. decent amount of freezing rain in pender county. starting to swap to sleet now.
