^Really liked all the Splinter Cells, the Grand Theft Autos, both COD multiplayers but only really the COD4 singleplayer, Bully Scholarship Edition, also like the NCAA Football and Tiger Woods series of games.....I like games that require a little more strategy and a little less just blasting things, also the absence of monsters/zombies/aliens is a plus, I lost a lot of respect for COD:WOW when I found out it had some sort of zombie mode even though I've never played whatever this zombie mode is

Really hated every Halo (I mean REALLY hated all the Halos no matter how hard I tried not to), Gears of War, Fallout, that stupid game where you were trapped in the mall with the zombies.....I just plain will not play anything with zombies in it

It just seems like 8 out of 10 games that come out revolve around some version of "it's the apocalypse and we're being overrun by zombies/monsters/aliens now go blast your way through 10 hours of zombies/monsters/aliens and save the world".......that's not my cup of tea

^Street Fighter 4 just came out.

I consider it the best fighter I have ever played or seen played.

It has no zombies or waves of killing assorted creatures.

I'll hesitantly say I'm very pleased with MLB 2k9 (the demo, fwiw). It looks almost as fun and as playable as MVP 2004/2005.

The only definite negative is the fact that Steve Phillips is doing the voice work.

see i bought a lightgun for psx, but there were only like 2-3 games worth buying. i woulda gotten one for xbox, but there was only house of the dead and siletn scope.

i love those things in the arcade, but no one is willing to develop for it on the console so why bother (wii being the exception since the controller IS the light gun).

I actually thought 2k8 played a pretty good game of baseball once the sliders were done well... but the framerate KILLED the game. I somewhat enjoyed the demo besides having to stomach seeing Cole Hamels' bitchass on the hill...

The show is insanely good. 2K9 is way better than 2k8. The signature styles are ridiculous...i cant find anyone who doesnt have theres. Even the real minor leaguers have theirs. Friggin Kei Igawa has his. It's insane.

I lost my first game to the Mets 12-1, then I won my next game 8-5, and the last 2 games have been 1-0 (beat the Red Sox and Beckett with Sabathia) and lost 4-0 (i cant hit wakefield's knuckler.)
