the jet stream is gonna carry it off east because its down there this time of year is my guess. what boggles me is that there is a high pressure over florida which would send it west. i guess the high is just damn weak compared to the jet.

if the waters are warmer along the forecast track thats just because the jet seperates cooler air mass from warmer air mass and it would take tthe storm

theres an area north of cozumel just south of cancun that has been in the eyewall for going on 30 strait hours now. ive never seen anything like that. thats 100+mph winds for 30 hours. imagine the wear and tear over that long a time.

i think they should just ask for corporations to name hurricanes.....it might solve the budget issues for NHC....Hurricane IBM......

man that aint gonna do shit, it is too far off shore and even if it did come shore it wouldnt allow a cold front of enough magnitude to freeze that kinda water into anything

crazy rednecks

T H 53 / L 42 heavy rain/wind
W H 53 / L 44 AM showers
H H 55 / L 45 Sunny
F H 57 / L 46 Sunny
S H 58 / L 51 few showers
Su H 57 / L 49 few showers

Umm, I really wouldn't describe that as anything but a normal fall week up here. And that isn't really nasty by any defnition
