dunno...i figured the ONLY reason they got mcinnis was since knight was hurt and derek anderson was not the backup PG we needed

still b-rob was ATHLETICALLY a great player

your edit made no sense. you have jordan, may, felton, jeff mc that's enough for it to be the bobheels.

This is ridiculous. 3 players on the roster went to UNC, an assistant coach's son played at UNC, they played an exhibition game at the dean dome, and of course Michael Jordan is a part owner. Next stop, Larry Brown as head coach.

If we are going to get a UNC coach let's at least get George Karl instead of Brown. Fucker never stays anywhere longer than 3 years and he is old now.

Do you think Lions fans whine about having Ohio State players or Dolphins fans whine about having Florida or FSU players?

Dude.

It's Raymond Felton and Sean May.

They aren't bad but they wouldn't be starters on better teams.

If we drafted Paul and the Hornets got Felton im sure both would still be starting... Felton can play, and who cares how many UNC ties the Bobcats have... There arent many teams that you cant draw a unc line to...

anyway the McGinnis move might be a move to get on good terms with NJ to sign Vince straight up after the season or a sign-and-trade (which i dont see us ever doing)... if they decide Vince is the big money they want to spend...

personally I wouldnt mind VC but I think there may be better people to fit our style

but he would put more butts in seats

[Edited on January 4, 2007 at 8:16 AM. Reason : as long as we win i dont care if we have 10 Duke players]

If you are going to be a Bobcats fan, you have to get over the unc hate (only for those directly involved with the 'cats)

106-74 loss to the Magic

#1 problem I see, Field Goal % = 29.1 that wont cut it
cant have Felton going 3-12 along with May 1-8, Morrison 4-14, and Okafor 1-7

McGinnis did play 16 mins but only had an assist and 2 pts going 0-4 from the field

That shit got BEAT!

yeah i have boxes laying around that i've just never gotten to - mostly commons in those, but there's prolly a few diamonds in that rough

and i'm sure yall know this, but i've been off tww for awhile - the sting folded last week, and i was wondering if that had anything to do with bob johnson's financial situation with the bobcats

One of my friends bought a house after he got married that belonged to a card dealership owner. He had a whole room downstairs almost full of cards, hundreds of thousands of them.

He said we could have anything we found as long as we got rid of all the cards.

We found probably $1500 worth of cards, mostly thanks to a $250 A-Rod rookie and a $500 Gale Sayers rookie, and various other fairly valuable cards.

Then we burned the rest (probably along with hundreds more dollars in cards, but damn we were tired of looking at them).

they were losin money with the sting at a torrid pace, so he cut the sting and gave them to the WNBA to take care of. the WNBA couldnt do anything with them, so they just absolved the franchise.

one positive note from morrison besides his occasional good shooting night is that his defense seems to be gettin better. earlier, you could drive a mac truck in between him and his man, but now he's gettin up on em and at least forcing them to make a play.

Felton 18 and 7 assists but 5 turnovers
Carroll 17
Morrison 16
May 14 and 8 rebs
Andeson 11
Okafor 10 and 10 rebs
McGinnis 7

Not bad with no BK or Gforce, 5-15 from 3, 32-38 from the FT line

gg Bobcats

I dig those road uni's. Most all of the Bobcat's wins this year have been over solid teams. Now if we could just beat the scrubs.

10-23 (1-6 in division) is good for second to last in the league (tied with Atlanta) and ahead of Memphis (9-27).

Please to get Kevin Durant or Oden, but knowing the 'Cats we'll probably draft Brandon Wright from UNC (which I wouldn't be opposed to, kid is pretty nasty)

Mr. Hodge will probably be a free agent soon

possibilities of him landing here?? slim but it would be neat

also

McGinnis is playing some good minutes

and im starting up the trade BK before he turns 50 and Carroll before he cools off bandwagon

I'd like to keep Carroll...he isnt a good shooter...he is a great shooter...very underrated

BK...when he's healthy he sees the court well and can drain the hell out of the mid range jumper, but he is injury prone and I think he's 2nd in the NBA in ejections...only bad thing is that BK, McGinnis and Derek Anderson are all kind of old...they wont all be coming back next year

Jules for President

the bobcats need one of the first three picks in the draft this year. oden, durant and wright are leaps and bounds above anybody else who should be available.

Out of those three I'd take Durant.

He seems, to me, like he has the most upside.

^^ Agreed. I think Oden is too similar to Okafor in the mold of a defensive center that can get dunks and stuff but doesnt have a complete offensive package.

I think Durant and Okafor would work very well together though.

^ mcinnis left after his junior year after the Mrs. Phil Ford scandal

my other two favorite stories from that time period are Harrington transferring because he fucked archie millers g/f

and

jerry braswell fucking tony rutlands g/f which caused rutland to scowl even more during games and braswell never saw the ball his senior season
